Waldo Point Harbor does not sell or lease floating homes. You may be able to find a real estate agent by checking a newsletter on the Floating Homes Association website or contacting your local real estate agent.

yoWaldo Point Harbor Reconfiguration

When will construction start?

Permits from the county and other government agencies are currently being obtained. While we are obtaining permits we are removing debris in various areas of the harbor where construction is to be later done. Our current plan is to start working on the sea wall in summer of 2012.

Can I view the plans?

The plans can be viewed at the Harbor Office. Please call 415-332-6220 to request an appointment.

Where will I park my car when the parking lot is being raised?

Waldo Point Harbor will locate adequate parking within the site for parking of cars while parking lot construction is taking place.

Will I be affected?

Waldo Point Harbor will try to minimize the effect of the constuction process on the residents, however, there will be disruptions of many types.

There will be meetings to try to predict the schedule and likely consequences that will involve residents on a dock by dock basis. Please check this website often for notices and stay in touch with your FHA dock representative.

Do I need a building permit to modify my house?

You need a building permit issued by the County of Marin to modify your house. You can obtain construction regulations there as well.

My car was towed. Where can I pick it up?

The phone number for the towing service is printed on signs in the parking lot.

I have guests in town. Can they park in my parking lot?

You can obtain guest parking permits from the harbor office.

 

yoPilings

My piling is about to fall down. What do I do?

Contact the harbor office to schedule a piling replacement. Other piling related information can be found here.

How do I tell if my pilings are secure?

You can schedule an appointment with the harbor to inspect your pilings. Other piling related information can be found here.

yoContacting the Harbor

There is a harbor emergency and the office is closed. Who do I call?

If there is a life threatening emergency please call 911.

Waldo Point Harbor has an answering service available at our regular number 415-332-6220 when the office is closed. If there is a harbor emergency and the office is closed the answering service will forward the message to the appropriate harbor personnel.

 

yoBerthage Payments

Where do I send my payment and who do I make it out to?

All berthage payments must be made out to WALDO POINT HARBOR. Please place the berth number in the memo area and mail it to:
